ORGANIZED + ADAPTABLE TEMPORARY FAMILY ASSISTANT FOR FAMILY OF 5!
A long-term SSN family is seeking a proactive and organized Household Manager/Nanny to support a their family as they navigate a busy transition. This family of five, with children ages 6, 8, and 11, is currently living in a rental home in Hillsboro/West End while their home in Belle Meade is completed (expected in April). They are looking for someone to assist with household tasks, childcare, and moving preparation. Both parents are around and also pitching in with all of these tasks, however one of them often needs to step out for meetings, etc. and it's a two-person job at the moment!
SCHEDULE:
Hours: 25 hours per week, generally between 10 AM – 5 PM, up to 5 days a week.
Duration: Initially a 3-month position, with the potential to extend into a longer-term role.
Location: Hillsboro West End (rental home) until April, then Belle Meade.
Start Date: ASAP.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Household Support:
- Organizing and packing for the move.
- Light cleaning and household upkeep.
- Grocery shopping and errands.
- Laundry and general tidying.
Childcare & Transportation:
- School/activity pick-ups (a reliable personal vehicle is required).
- Occasional evening care when both parents are out.
Transition Assistance:
- Helping ensure a smooth move into their newly renovated home.
Ideal Candidate:
- 3 to 5 years of professional Family Assistance experience
- Organized, proactive, and able to take initiative.
- Experienced in household management and childcare.
- Comfortable balancing household responsibilities with occasional childcare needs.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and capable of handling moving logistics.
- Must have a safe, reliable vehicle for transporting children and valid driver's license.
Compensation:
Hourly $28–$35/hour gross, based on experience
