Pets: two family-friendly dogs

This loving family with three children, 3, 18mo, and 4mo are taking the leap to relocate to the Nashville area from Miami, Fl. They live an active and healthy lifestyle and love to be outside, go for walks, spend hours at the playground, swim, and take their children to enrichment classes. Mom will be home most of the time and Dad works from home, so a team-player will be needed to tackle the day with 3 kids under 3! They are hiring a full-time nanny for the weekdays and are looking for a weekend nanny to provide additional assistance on Saturday/Sunday.

SCHEDULE
Hours: Saturday (full day) Sunday (full or partial day), exact hours flexible/TBD
*Schedule could also include a full day Friday or other partial weekdays for additional hours
Start date: Week of March 31, 2025
Duration: 6-12 month initial commitment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Tend to the children’s needs and ensure that the family’s set routine/schedule is implemented.
- Bring a joyful and upbeat mindset to work and be very sweet and tender with the children.
- Adaptable to fluctuations in the day to day, and open to taking direction from mom about the format for each day.
- Work comfortably with involved parents. Mom/Dad may be around and involved or may be out of the house depending on the weekend.
- Flexible to shift the schedule later to cover a Saturday evening, or potentially even help on a Friday evening.
- Maintaining the tidiness of the home and picking up after play or mealtime, and ensuring the children’s rooms and play areas remain organized. No deep cleaning.
- Collaborating with the parents to complete tasks like the kid’s laundry and prepping basic kid meals such as eggs, pasta, cutting fruit, steaming veggies & browning ground beef, and staying open-minded to helping with other kid-related tasks as they come up.
- Swim/monitor swimming with the kids, the older kids are in swim lessons.
- Be dog-friendly, the family has two large, friendly doodle-mixes.
- Driving the children as-needed to parks, playdates, etc.
- Potential travel in the future


REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Minimum 2 years of nanny experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with ages 5mo – 4 years old
- Able to offer slight flexibility in the schedule
- Have a vehicle to use for work purposes, mileage reimbursed
- Have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Non-smoker/vaper


COMPENSATION
Hourly: $25 - $33/hour depending on qualifications
PTO, Paid holidays + sick days: offered
Health insurance stipend: negotiable
