New parents in the West End area recently welcomed their first child about 6 weeks before they planned to! Now that everyone is settled into life as a new family, they are ready to look for a temporary, part time nanny to help them bridge the gap between mom’s return to work and baby’s daycare spot opening up. With both grandma’s helping a few days a week, they are looking for a consistent nanny twice a week for full days. As an active and outgoing family, they would be looking for someone who aligns with their lifestyle and remains engaging, creative, and excited to care for their sweet little boy, who will be 4 months old when the nanny begins.

SCHEDULE
Tuesdays + Thursdays 8 AM – 5 PM
*Can be flexible on a different combination of days for the right fit
Guaranteed hours: 18/week
Duration: April 7, 2025 – July 31, 2025 (~4 months)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Childcare:
- Meet all need for B4mo throughout the day which includes bottle feedings, putting down for naps, active/enrichment time to meet developmental milestones, soothing, and diapering.
- Follow and remain consistent with baby’s schedule/routine at the time for feedings/naps/active time.
- Provide intentional, loving care in mom and dad’s absence
- Wash/sanitize bottles and dishes used throughout the day
- Assist with baby’s laundry
- Play indoors out take baby out for walks in the neighborhood

Household:
- Occasionally switch or fold household laundry
- Let the family’s golden retriever out a few times a day in their fenced in back yard
- Unload the dishwasher

REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years of professional nanny experience with infants (~4 – 10 months old)
- CPR certified
- Up to date on childhood immunizations
- Able to make a commitment for the timeline of April – end of July
- Strong references for experience and responsibility

COMPENSATION
Hourly: $28 - $33/hr
PTO, Paid holidays.+ sick days offered
