Location: Mt. Juliet, TN 37122 (near downtown MJ area)

This easy-going family is full of happy, silly, and friendly humans! They are a very close-knit family with four kids, B6, G5, G3 and G1. This super-mom does it all including homeschooling her two oldest and needs a do-it-all type person to tag-team the day with her. Dad travels a lot for work, but does work from home when he’s in town. As a family they love music, hiking, riding bikes, playing in their pool, and being active in general. They are looking for a detail-oriented person who takes initiative, but also has a great balance of co-working with mom. They work hard but also don’t take life too seriously and aim to have fun along the way, if you have a good sense of humor, you’ll feel right at home here.

Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 5:30
Friday 8:30 - 2:30
*Occasional shift in hours for date nights, etc.
Start date: Flexible Oct – Dec start date
Duration: A 1-year commitment to start with option to continue


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Have a can-do and helpful mentality to assist with responsibilities spanning from the kids, to the home, to the pets.
2. Collaborate and work with a SAHM to divide and conquer the day, being adaptable to fluctuate between nanny and FA duties throughout the day. Minimal pet care such as letting in/out is asked.
3. Take initiative and take action with time-sensitive tasks (i.e. helping pack backpacks or fill up water bottles in the AM rush) or planning ahead (i.e. having a fun craft ready to go if the kids need an activity to do.)
4. Able to pivot throughout the day and not get thrown off by plans changing. They are scheduled and routine oriented, but with four kids things plans can change throughout the day.
5. Engaging with the kids and bringing creative ideas for crafts, play, and games. The kids love crafts and being active. Swimming is essential for this role.
6. Helping the oldest two focus on homeschool work or assisting with the younger ones while mom does.
7. Assisting with bath time as-needed
8. Communicating with mom throughout the day and always knowing where each child is.
9. Helping with daily/weekly household tasks including children’s laundry, cleaning up after meals/meal prep, tidying up, keeping things organized, and cleaning kid gear.
10. Running errands as-needed for any member of the family
11. Assisting with dinner prep or entertaining the children while mom cooks.
12. Traveling with the family on family vacations a few times a year.

REQUIREMENTS
- 4 years of professional Nanny experience
- Minimum 1 year of Family Assistant experience
- Professional child-related experience with ages 1 – 6 years old
- Experience working with bigger families with at least 3 kids
- Experience working collaboratively with a parent
- Ability to travel with the family a few weeks per year
- Safe driving record and valid drivers license
- A reliable and safe vehicle to use for running errands and potentially transporting 1-2 kids in the future (mileage is reimbursed)
- Non smoker/vaper

COMPESNATION
Hourly: $25 - $35/hr gross based on qualifications
PTO, Paid holidays, sick days: offered + competitive
