A loving and busy family in the West Nashville area is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented mother's helper/nanny to support their family of five. With three children—G9, B7, and a newborn (4 months old)—this family is looking for someone who can help with light household tasks around the house and assist mom with childcare.

SCHEDULE & HOURS
The family is very flexible and can accommodate a 4 or 5 day work week. Ideal schedule would look similar to:
• Monday & Friday: “full day” ~10 AM – 5 PM
• Wednesday: ~ 11 – 5:30/6
• Tuesday and/or Thursday: Afternoon hours/flexible
Total hours: 20 - 25/week
Start date: February 2025/ASAP
Duration: 6 months - 1 year

ABOUT THE FAMILY

This is an active, faith-centered family that prioritizes kindness, responsibility, and joy. Their two older children have unique personalities:
• G9 is a social butterfly with a love for musical theatre, voice lessons, and soccer. She is nurturing and empathetic but also sensitive.
• B7 is a sports enthusiast who loves building puzzles and has a focused, reserved nature. He takes time to warm up but is incredibly loyal once he does.
• Baby (4 months) is growing and developing, requiring gentle and attentive care.

The children attend a small Christian school, and the family is intentional about their values. While they allow some screen time, they are conservative about media exposure. Their two dogs also add to the household dynamic—one is outgoing and friendly, while the other is more reserved but equally lovable.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Household/tidying duties:

•. Helping with family laundry a few days/week
• General tidying, loading/loading dishwasher
• Adding items to grocery or household lists
• Assisting mom with household organization tasks
• Errands as needed
• Walking the family dog if desired, though not required

Childcare Responsibilities:
• Afternoon care (3–5 PM): School pick-up, snack prep, after-school activities, and homework guidance
• Baby care on M/F: Providing nurturing, attentive care for the infant during the day
• Dividing and conquering with mom in the afternoons
• Driving children to activities (all within 5 miles of the home, mileage reimbursement provided if using own vehicle)
• Supporting an organized, structured, and joyful home environment

• Able to swim and supervise kids at the pool during summer

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience (from age 18 onward)
• Nanny experience not required, but welcomed
• Experience caring for infants, as well as school-aged children
• Detail-oriented/thorough with cleaning
• Safe & clean driving record
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transporting children & running errands
• Ability to make a 6 month to 1-year commitment

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Hourly Rate: $25 - $27/hr gross
Guaranteed Hours: 30-35 per week
Paid Time Off (PTO), Sick Days, & Paid Holidays provided
Mileage Reimbursement for driving related to job duties
