SCHEDULE
Hours: 9 – 3 (but flexible), 2 days per week (flexible on which days), may increase hours after baby's arrival
Total hours: 12 per week to start
Start date: November/December 2024
Duration: Ideally one year to start and assess the need from there


A growing family in Nashville is looking for a part time nanny to relieve grandma and grandpa from their childcare duties and take over with a sweet, fun-loving, and active 19 month old girl! This little cutie is getting a promotion to big sister in February and mom would love to have transitioned someone into their family by then. Dad’s job is demanding, often having him travel and mom need some consistent support to ensure her week flows and the household runs smoothly. This role would be nanny-based and may eventually include care for their newborn on occasion, experience with both toddlers and infants will be essential. They’re looking for an active and energetic nanny who will plan lots of fun activities and maintain their routines and structure within the home!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interactive play with 19 month old girl including playing outside, reading, crafts, coloring, going on walks, playground and bounce house time, etc.
• Have an educationally driven motive for play/awake time.
• Talk with G19mo like she is a friend and narrate everything, she is very verbal.
• Follow established schedules and routine for meals and nap time (sleep schedule is very important to them!)
• Using redirection and explaining why something is a “no”
• Tidying up from the day and cleaning up anything used throughout the day.
• Letting the family dog in or out during the day.

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 3 years of nanny experience with ages 18 months – 2.5 years old
• Minimum 2 years of nanny experience with an infant 3 months+
• Degree in Early Childhood Education or similar
• Ability to commit to the position for 1 year
• Comfortable working with a SAHM
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and safe vehicle to use for work purposes (driving may be considered in the future)
• Dog-friendly
• Up beat, positive personality

COMPENSATION
Hourly: $28 - $35/hr
PTO, Holidays off, sick days: offered
Guaranteed hours: offered/will reflect the final schedule
