CCP7

OUTGOING, ACTIVE + HANDS-ON FULL TIME NANNY FOR A HOMESCHOOL FAMILY OF SOON-TO-BE SEVEN!

CCP7

Location: College Grove, TN 37046
Pets: 1 French Bulldog

This energetic and fun-loving family is new to town and eagerly awaiting the arrival of their adoptive baby in May. With four boys—ages 13, 11, 2.5, and 10 months—their newest addition will be welcomed into a home filled with adventure, creativity, and organized chaos. Originally from New Jersey, but most recently in Florida, they are thrilled to now call Tennessee home, where their children have the space to explore, imagine, and tinker.
Both parents run a family business and enjoy including their children in their work, often traveling regionally as a family. They are seeking an outgoing, professional nanny who can embrace their dynamic lifestyle, share in their laughter, and navigate each day with a flexible, go-with-the-flow attitude. While the nanny will play an integral role in the household, they will not be responsible for homeschooling, as a dedicated teacher handles the children’s education.

SCHEDULE

Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM*
*They are very flexible and can accommodate a number of schedule options.
Flexibility needed: 1. Ability to travel with them for 2-6 days at a time, for up to 4-5 weeks per year. 2. Occasional later evenings or a few hours on a weekend would be a perk!
Guaranteed hours: 40/week
Start date: March 10
Duration: Ideally 2-3 years

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with Parents – Work alongside mom and dad to ensure the children’s needs are met throughout the day. The older boys will be homeschooled from 8 AM to 1 PM, during which time the nanny will primarily care for the younger two. While both parents are often present, their work schedule is highly flexible, so their level of involvement may vary from day to day.

• Meal Prep & Light Tidying – Prepare snacks and lunch for the children, clean up after mealtimes, and help maintain a tidy and organized environment by picking up daily messes. Seasonal or as-needed kid-related organization and cleaning may also be required.

• Engaging Activities – Foster creativity and playfulness with the little ones through enriching indoor and outdoor activities. The family enjoys spending time outside, and the older children, in particular, are used to outdoor play as a key part of their daily routine.

• Maintain Routines with Flexibility – Support the children’s daily routines while understanding that the family operates within flexible timeframes for meals and naps rather than a strict schedule. With four kids, occasional car naps and adjustments to the routine are to be expected.

• Daily Outings – Primarily care for the children at home or accompany a parent on outings. While solo outings with the children may become more common over time, the family generally prefers to spend their days together.

• Travel & Adventures – Join the family on trips, as they love exploring new places together. Their children are well-accustomed to travel, often staying in hotels or rental properties and using their RV for road trips. Family activities are typically incorporated into most travel plans.

• Infant Care Support – Assist mom with newborn care following the arrival of their adoptive baby in May. The nanny will gradually take on more responsibilities as the baby grows but will not be expected to take full charge in the initial months.

• Embrace Their Fun & Easygoing Nature – The family values a lighthearted and joyful home environment. They are looking for someone who can match their playful energy, share in laughter, and feel at ease as part of their close-knit household.
