This down-to-earth couple had their hearts explode almost a year and a half ago when they welcomed their sweet and easy-going little girl. They are a close-knit crew and love spending time with one another, however their work brings them all over the world with their artistic and creative jobs and they need a solid person to join them for the simple life at home in Nashville or on one of their grand, but short, adventures! They are active and energetic people and hope to attract the same vibe, who will also enhance their little girl’s life with learning, fun, and love. They are the type of people who end up being friends with anyone they surround themselves with, and can’t wait to welcome someone with open arms into their world.

SCHEDULE
Typically: Monday – Friday 8 – 4/9 - 5 or a similar 40 hour week schedule, they will need a lot of flexibility, which is outlined below.
Guaranteed hours: 40/week
Start date: January 20/ASAP
Duration: At least a year, but hopefully you like them enough to stick around for longer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Flexibility is going to be number one, and as much as they need, they can also give in return. Dad’s schedule is more predictable but mom may need to leave town for an event or assignment. In return they can easily accommodate a long weekend, a weekday off in the middle of a work week or a much needed break after travel. The following flexibility may be asked in this role:
o Shifting hours during the week to the evening or over the weekend
o Traveling with the family, sometimes with 1 week notice, but typically more.
o Stay overnight (very rare) with G17mo if both parents need to leave for a 24 hour trip

2. Travel with the family, both domestic and international.
3. Loving an intentional care for their awesome G17months who loves music, books, and signing some jams into the new microphone she got for Christmas.
4. Balancing at-home time with taking G17mo on educational and fun outings around town to parks and other kid attractions, not relying on tv/screens in the daily routine.
5. Remaining communicative and extremely trustworthy.
6. Child related tasks for G17mo and keeping their condo tidy with regard to the day’s messes.
7. Comfortable being in a work environment where both parents may be home, around, or involved. They love to be with their daughter as much as possible.
8. Able to check in on their cat and their home/packages when they are away as a family for extended periods of time (sometimes up to a month)
9. Respect for mom’s Danish heritage and potential differing parenting approach with mirror cultural norms for her, “no weather is bad weather, there is only bad clothing!”
10. Interest in learning some basic Danish words (eat, tired, etc.), baby is bilingual and knows baby sign language
11. Willingness to run an errand or tackle a non-childcare related tasks if on duty and mom or dad take over for a while.


REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 4 years of professional nanny experience
• Able to meet all the flexibility requirements noted above
• Seeking a long term commitment
• Excellent communication skills and approaching the job as a team effort in both caring for the child but also transparency with nanny’s needs + schedule
• Excitement to travel and eagerness to see the world
• Balance + maintain professional responsibilities within a casual atmosphere
• Valid driver’s license + vehicle to use for kid outings
• Ability to sign an NDA

Prior professional travel experience and working for high profile families would be preferred, but is not required.

COMPENSATION
Hourly: $30 - $35/hr gross based on qualifications
